The XRAY 358209 XT8 Rear Big Bore Shock Absorbers set is built to improve handling and control on the XT8 platform. This kit includes two rear shocks with soft rubber folding boots and blue springs rated at a spring constant of C = 0.61. The oversized 18.5mm outer diameter bodies are externally threaded and include adjustable collars for precise downstop settings.

High Precision Aluminium Construction

Shock bodies are hardcoated and fitted with one-piece aluminium caps to resist wear and extend service life. The large 15.3mm inner bore supports steady oil flow across perfectly round pistons, improving damping response. The pistons are molded from a specialty composite for consistent shape and smooth movement.

Consistent Damping and Reliable Seals

Wider shock membranes are matched to the big-bore layout to keep damping even during extended runs and heavy impacts. The lower assembly uses quality silicone O-rings and composite shims to reduce oil loss while allowing free rod motion. An aluminium lower cap secures the internals and helps keep out grit.

Heavy Duty Shafts for Tough Tracks
