Upgrade Your XB8 with Precision Shock Bodies

The XRAY 358124 Aluminum Front Shock Body set is made to bring refined damping and stronger wear resistance to your XB8 off-road buggy. Machined from 7075 T6 aluminium, these bodies balance light weight with high strength while the hard-coated titanium finish improves surface durability and gives a clean look.

Engineered Dimensions for Accurate Setup

These shock bodies use an oversized big-bore layout with an outer diameter of 18.5mm and an inner diameter of 16.0mm. External fine threading permits accurate spring preload adjustments to suit different track conditions and driver preferences. Produced on advanced German CNC-machines, the components deliver consistent tolerances for repeatable setups.

Finish That Stands Up to Racing

XRAY's in-house hardcoating produces a titanium-style finish that protects against scuffing and wear. The coating extends component life and keeps the shock bodies looking good through regular maintenance cycles and competitive use.

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are built specifically for the XRAY XB8 specification. They may fit other shocks with identical bore and length, but compatibility is not guaranteed without verifying dimensions.
Standard RC tools are required, including a hex driver set and shock pliers. A small parts tray and thread locker for external fasteners are also useful during installation.
Keep the surfaces clean of grit and regularly inspect for burrs. Use mild degreaser and a soft brush for cleaning, and avoid harsh abrasives to preserve the hard-coated finish.
