Engineered Shock Pistons for Precise Damping

The XRAY 358033 Composite Shock 6-Hole Piston Set is built to improve damping consistency in your RC suspension. Machined from durable Delrin, these pistons are made for 16mm big-bore shocks and deliver smooth shaft travel. They come in three hole sizes, 1.2mm, 1.3mm and 1.4mm, so you can dial in the rebound and compression to match track conditions.

Tunable Six-Port Layout for Setup Flexibility

Each piston uses a 6-hole pattern to create distinct flow characteristics for different driving styles. Tight manufacturing tolerances keep the pistons round and uniform, helping them slide cleanly inside the shock body. The result is repeatable shock action on all four corners, aiding stability during high speed turns and landings.

Durable Delrin for Reliable Service Life

Made from a composite Delrin formulation, these pistons resist wear and keep moving smoothly over time. The material reduces stiction and helps prolong piston life, making the set a practical upgrade for racers and hobbyists who want consistent performance session after session.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are made to the standard 16mm big-bore specification and should fit most shock bodies built to that size, but check your shock internal diameter to be sure.
Start with the mid 1.3mm size for a balanced feel, then move to 1.2mm for firmer damping or 1.4mm for a softer response depending on traction and track layout.
Use the correct shock oil and ensure pistons are oriented consistently on each shock. Clean the shock body and shaft before assembly to reduce stiction.
