XRAY 353054 Rear Shock Tower for Precise Low-Traction Handling

The XRAY 353054 Rear Shock Tower is machined from 4mm premium graphite to deliver a lightweight yet stiff upgrade. Built for the XRAY XB8 series, this tower helps drivers dial in better control when traction is limited.

Tuning Flexibility and Track Stability

Multiple shock mounting holes and adjustable roll center settings let racers fine-tune suspension geometry to suit different grip levels. The sturdy graphite construction keeps flex predictable under load, helping maintain consistent traction and improved cornering stability during races.

Installation is straightforward using stock hardware and basic tools. It usually replaces the factory tower without modifying the chassis or shocks.
Lowering the rear roll center and choosing inner shock mounts typically improves rear grip on low-traction layouts; experiment with one change at a time to find the best setup.
Graphite offers higher stiffness than most plastics, so it resists deflection better under load; however, it can be more brittle in extreme impacts, so inspect for cracks after heavy crashes.
A stiffer rear tower usually sharpens response and reduces chassis roll, which can make high-speed transitions feel more precise, but you may need to rebalance front and rear settings.
