Race tuning guide for the XRAY 346130 RX8e radio plate

The XRAY RX8e Graphite Radio Plate is milled from 2.5mm high grade graphite to give drivers a lightweight, rigid mounting point while still allowing setup freedom. It accepts two short battery packs and lets you change chassis behaviour without major alterations.

Rear flex control via replaceable bushings

Rear bushings let you decouple radio plate flex from the main chassis. Fit the bushings for a fixed rear mount that suits high traction surfaces, or remove them to allow additional rear flex when grip is low and the car needs extra compliance.

Front multi-flex tuning at the servo saver

Adjust front stiffness by changing the bushing in the servo saver area. With the bushing in place the front radio plate position is held firm for predictable in-corner steering. Taking the bushing out increases front flex and can help the car turn later in corners.

Measure your short pack length and compare with the chassis battery bay; the plate is designed to accept standard short LiPo packs used in 1/8 on-road setups. Check clearance with your ESC and receiver orientation before final installation.
Use the fixed rear setting on high bite surfaces or when you want consistent mid-corner stability. The fixed mount reduces chassis movement so steering inputs translate more directly.
Start with the bushing fitted for balanced steering, then remove it if you need sharper turn-in. Small changes to spring rate and toe will amplify the effect, so adjust incrementally and test on your typical surface.
