Race-Ready Graphite 2-Speed Gear for RX8 by XRAY 345645

Serious racers will appreciate the XRAY 345645 Graphite 2-Speed Gear 45T, moulded from a high-grade graphite composite to balance hardness and resilience. That combination reduces wear and the chance of tooth damage while keeping weight down, making it a trustworthy choice for club and national events.

Weight Savings and Drivetrain Gains

The graphite build cuts rotating mass so the drivetrain responds faster and acceleration feels sharper. These weight savings translate to crisper throttle response and improved lap times when every fraction counts.

True Running and Low Wobble

Produced in precision tooling, these gears run very true with minimal wobble, helping maintain stable gear mesh under load. Consistent spur alignment means the RX8 chassis stays more predictable through corners.

Quick Ratio Changes and Clear Marking

Offered in common racing sizes and clearly stamped with tooth counts, the XRAY 345645 makes it simple to swap ratios trackside. Clear markings speed up setup changes between practice and mains.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This spur is manufactured to fit the XRAY RX8 chassis without modification, ensuring proper mesh and alignment when installed with compatible pinions.
Inspect the tooth faces for rounding or flats after a few runs and check for play on the gear hub. Replace if teeth show significant deformation to avoid pinion stripping.
Set a slight backlash that eliminates binding but keeps the pinion close to the spur. Use the chassis manual as a starting point and fine tune by feel under load.
