Upgrade the RX8e Drivetrain with a Precision Spur Collar

The XRAY 345620 Aluminum Spur Gear Collar is a direct-fit upgrade created for the RX8e chassis. Built from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, this collar combines high strength with low mass to reduce drivetrain play and keep gear mesh stable under load. Its CNC-machined finish ensures accurate seating and repeatable alignment for improved track performance.

Benefits of Swiss 7075 T6 Aluminum

Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum is prized for a superior strength-to-weight ratio, which helps the collar resist deformation while keeping added weight minimal. That balance reduces wear on adjacent drivetrain parts and supports more consistent torque delivery.

Built for Consistent Track Performance

Whether you are running club races or practising for an event, the XRAY 345620 Aluminum Spur Gear Collar helps maintain gear engagement and drivetrain reliability. It is a sensible maintenance upgrade for racers aiming for smoother lap times and fewer drivetrain issues.

Remark :

This part is produced to RX8e specifications and fits the standard RX8e spur setup. Confirm your spur shaft and bore dimensions before installation if you have an aftermarket spur.
Clean the mating surfaces, slide the collar into position on the spur shaft, and secure it following the RX8e assembly notes. Use thread locker on fasteners where specified to prevent loosening under vibration.
Inspect for signs of wear or movement during regular maintenance and ensure the retaining screw remains tightened to the recommended setting. The part itself rarely needs extra service beyond a visual check.
