The XRAY 341102 aluminum chassis is CNC machined from premium 5mm Swiss 7075 T6 alloy to combine low weight with long term durability. It is aimed at refining steering response and overall control for RX Series vehicles, especially vintage setups.

Chassis geometry tuned for control

This revision widens the front section to calm twitchy behaviour and make the car easier to drive. Machined grooves provide flexible engine mounting positions that suit both standard and small 2-speed gearboxes. The new front middle shaft holder and twin servo saver holes let drivers dial in Ackermann quickly for different track conditions.

Ballast locations and stiffness options

Machining is focused in low stress areas to keep strength where it matters while trimming mass elsewhere. The right side features several holes to add weights for precise balance and center of gravity (CG) adjustment. The chassis can also accept graphite reinforcing inserts to boost torsional stiffness when needed.

Flat underside and functional edge design

Countersunk screw holes leave a smooth underside free of protruding fasteners, and bevelled outer edges reduce drag and the chance of catching on obstacles. Minor longitudinal bending can occur from the milling process, but this does not affect on-track performance.
