Precision 5mm Chassis for Tuned Handling

The XRAY 341101 chassis is built for hobbyists who want precise control and consistent feel. Machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, this 5mm plate balances low mass and durable strength. The CNC finish preserves structural integrity while leaving controlled flex for better traction and more responsive steering.

Underside Engineering for Low Drag

The underside is finished with countersunk screw holes to create a smooth base that reduces drag and helps airflow. A reinforced solid area under the engine adds stiffness where needed, while carefully lightened sections introduce measured flexibility to enhance contact patch performance and turn-in response.

Adjustable Mass and Rigidity Options

This chassis supports simple setup changes to tune balance. You can add optional brass weights or graphite stiffeners at the front, centre, or rear to shift mass and alter chassis stiffness for different track conditions. These choices let you tailor handling without major modifications.

This chassis is made to fit the Vintage RX Series platform. Check your car's mounting points against the chassis holes to confirm direct compatibility with older RX variants.
Start with small brass weights at the front or rear and test on a familiar surface. Use the graphite stiffeners to fine tune roll and pitch without adding excessive mass.
Use the correct countersunk screws and ensure threads are clean. Tighten progressively and check engine and drivetrain clearances before your first run.
