Precision chassis upgrade for serious RC racers

Built for experienced hobbyists aiming to refine on-track handling, the XRAY 331104 Aluminum Chassis narrows the car platform to add controlled flex for better corner bite and crisper steering feedback. The reduced width also minimises tyre contact during tight turns, helping to prevent mid-corner push.

Swiss 7075 T6 machining and lightening

Manufactured from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum and CNC finished, the chassis balances low weight with structural integrity. Material has been removed from low-stress zones to keep mass down while maintaining stiffness where it matters, and chamfered edges with countersunk fixings create a smooth underside to reduce drag.

Lowered engine sit and airflow paths

The section under the engine is precisely machined to drop the motor slightly when used with optional mounts, lowering the centre of gravity. Integrated cut-outs encourage airflow across the motor area to assist cooling during long runs.

Tuneability with inserts and ballast

Racers can adapt handling by fitting graphite reinforcing inserts or adding ballast in the provided locations to alter stiffness, balance and the centre of gravity to suit different tracks and driving styles.

Yes, this narrow chassis is intended for compatibility with vintage NT series models, though checking mounting points against your kit is recommended.
Yes, there are provision points and pockets designed to accept additional weights so you can fine tune front to rear balance.
Keep the part free of grit and moisture, wipe with a mild cleaner, and inspect countersunk holes and edges after heavy use to catch any wear early.
