Tune Steering Feel with the XRAY Graphite Extension

The XRAY 322290 Graphite Steering Block Extension is made to improve steering precision and balance. Manufactured from stiff graphite, the 2.5mm two-slot design lets you fine tune Ackermann geometry to make outer wheel turns less aggressive. That leads to smoother corner entry and better mid corner speed on paved and mixed surfaces. The kit comes as a matched pair so both sides of the steering block can be setup identically.
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

Can I install this on either side of the steering block?

Yes. The parts are supplied in a pair and can be fitted to the left or right steering block to keep both sides matching.

How does changing Ackermann help my lap times?

Reducing outer wheel steering aggressiveness improves stability through turns, which often yields more consistent cornering and better exit speed rather than faster single corner entry.

Any setup tips when fitting the extension?

Check stack height and steering geometry after fitting, use minimal threadlocker where required, and test with your usual tyre compound to dial in the right Ackermann setting.
