Motor Mount Weights to Sharpen XRAY X4 Balance

If you want to refine your XRAY X4 setup, the nickel-coated brass weights are a compact way to tune balance. Supplied as a three-piece set of 4g, 4g and 8g, they are made to mount on the motor bracket and will not interfere with chassis flex or upset the car's weight distribution.

Where to Fit for Even Weight Distribution

Mounting these weights centrally on the motor mount helps preserve the front-to-rear balance of the car. Positioned near the middle of the chassis, they enhance stability while keeping handling predictable. The parts use 2.5x8mm screws for a secure fit that stays put during hard laps.

Quality Build and Corrosion Resistance

Each piece is CNC-machined from solid brass and finished with a nickel coating for added wear resistance and a tidy look. The machining and plating deliver consistent mass and long life under typical club and event use.

Can I use the XRAY 309852 set on other motor mounts?

These weights are shaped for the X4 motor mount; while you might adapt them to similar layouts, fit and clearance are guaranteed only on the XRAY X4 series.

Do I need different screws or threadlocker when fitting them?

The set secures with 2.5x8mm screws as supplied, but a drop of medium-strength threadlocker is recommended for racing use to prevent loosening.
