Precision Ceramic Bearings for RC Racing

Designed to boost driveline efficiency, the XRAY 309002 set of ceramic ball bearings provides a straightforward upgrade for hobbyists. Built with XRAY T2 and T3 chassis in mind, this 14-piece set contains 10 bearings sized 5x10x4mm and 4 bearings sized 10x15x4mm, making it suitable for a range of drivetrain positions.

Benefits of Ceramic Bearings

Ceramic bearings are lighter than standard steel units, which helps reduce rotational mass and allows the motor to reach higher RPMs. Racers will notice smoother acceleration and decreased vibration, while the ceramic construction offers improved resistance to corrosion and wear for longer service intervals.

Materials and Preparation

The XRAY 309002 bearings use Si3N4 silicone nitride ceramic balls, a material chosen for its high strength. Each bearing is degreased and given a light coating of AeroShell Fluid 12 oil to balance low friction with protection, and they are manufactured to tight tolerances for consistent performance.

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Although specified for XRAY T2 and T3 models, the bearings will work in any car that accepts 5x10x4mm and 10x15x4mm bearings. Verify your parts diagram for exact dimensions before fitting.
Clean them with a light solvent and relube sparingly; AeroShell Fluid 12 or a thin bearing oil is suitable. Keep grit and water away to avoid premature wear.
They mainly reduce drivetrain friction and vibration, which can improve throttle response and drivetrain efficiency. Suspension and setup still govern core handling characteristics.
