Track-Ready Performance for XRAY X4 2025

If you want sharper handling from your XRAY X4 2025, the XRAY 308129 XLP2 Aluminum Progressive Shock System Set (2) brings a controlled, progressive damping profile that helps refine traction and steering response. It is engineered to tune midstroke behavior for better feedback through corners.

Progressive Dampening Concept

The XLP2 uses a tailored insert with three triangular cuts paired to pistons without holes. That arrangement lets the insert, not piston ports, control stiffness, so the shock moves from softer to firmer as the piston travels upward, yielding a responsive, adaptive feel on asphalt.

Precision Materials and Finish

Inserts are machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum and finished in a durable black coat for long life. Pistons are produced from advanced composite compounds and are molded and ground to tight tolerances to maximise roundness and rigidity for consistent on-track performance.

Fitment and Best Practices

Install these inserts only with pistons that have no holes and fit them on both front and rear shocks for balanced handling. The system is aimed at asphalt circuits and remains compatible with standard shock oil grades.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The XLP2 is optimised for asphalt and sealed surfaces; on carpet or loose dirt you may lose the intended midstroke progression and grip characteristics.
You can continue using your usual shock oil. The progressive action is handled by the insert geometry rather than by a different oil requirement.
Start with stock spring rates and small oil changes to find balance; adjust preload and ride height to dial in front-to-rear balance rather than swapping inserts.
