The XRAY 306198 battery holder for the T4'19 chassis gives racers a practical way to dial in balance and handling. Built from graphite with brass options, the mount supports precise lateral and longitudinal battery placement for on-track setup work.

Weight Balance Controls

The holder permits battery movement in front/rear and left/right directions, with a 4mm front/rear adjustment window. Adding the brass piece increases weight by 7.5g, providing a simple method to shift mass to the battery side for improved stability.

Chassis Flex and Tape Layout

This design accepts battery tape on the top only, removing the need for under-chassis tape. That layout keeps chassis flex freer and helps achieve a slightly lower ride height for better traction through corners.

How much effect does the 7.5g brass add-on have on handling?

Adding the 7.5g brass shifts the centre of mass toward the battery side and can reduce understeer or increase straight-line stability depending on your baseline setup. Treat it as a small but useful trim option.

Can I use thicker battery tape with this holder?

Yes, but because the holder is designed for top-only tape, check clearance around the electronics and chassis to avoid unwanted ride height gain. Test mounting before final runs.

Will moving the battery left or right help cornering?

Lateral shifts can tune roll behaviour; moving the battery toward the inside of turns can increase grip on that side, while opposite shifts can loosen the car. Make small steps and log changes.
