Precision CVD Drive Shafts for XRAY X4

For racers aiming to sharpen their XRAY X4 2022 handling, the XRAY 305407 CVD Bb Drive Shaft is a strong upgrade. Machined from Hudy Spring Steel, the 52mm shafts improve steering feel and rotation on high-traction surfaces, helping drivers tackle tight corners with more control.

Handling Tradeoffs and Fit

This drive shaft set is tuned to increase off-power steering response, which benefits technical and tight track layouts. Note that the change can reduce rear traction and overall stability, so it suits drivers who prefer sharper front-end turn-in on grippy layouts.

For correct installation and performance, pair these drive shafts with the #304972 Gear Diff CVD BB Driveshaft Outdrives, which are sold separately.

Quality Materials from Hudy

The XRAY CVD shafts are made exclusively from Hudy Spring Steel, a material respected for toughness and fatigue resistance in competitive RC parts. That construction provides consistent life and reliability under race conditions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This part is produced for the XRAY X4 2022 geometry. Check axle spacing and diff outdrive compatibility before fitting to older X4 models, and use the #304972 outdrives for best results.
Hudy Spring Steel offers a balance of strength and flex that many racers prefer for durability and consistent feel under load versus softer steels or stainless alternatives.
After fitting the shafts, recheck toe and rear traction levels. Expect a need to soften rear roll or increase rear toe to recover stability if rotation drops.
