RC drivers wanting cleaner handling for flowing layouts will appreciate the 59mm ECS BB drive shafts for the XRAY X4. Made from Hudy Spring Steel, this pair is built to reduce drivetrain losses and give a more predictable steering response through medium and high speed corners.

Why the Handling Feels Smoother

The ECS BB (ball-bearing) design lowers friction against the outdrive compared to blade-style shafts. That lower friction produces a smoother transition during quick direction changes and when attacking chicanes. The 59mm length favours stronger steering mid-corner and on power, though you may notice slightly less initial bite at turn-in.

Keeping These Shafts Serviceable

Service is straightforward. Build them the same way as other ECS driveshafts, and add Hudy Joint Grease (106213) between the small bearings and the outdrives to help prevent premature wear and keep the parts running smoothly.
