Rear Shock Holder Upgrade for Fine Tuning

If you want more precise control of your RC setup, the XRAY 302976 Rear Aluminium Shock Holder is a direct way to tune the rear end of your X4. Machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, these holders let you adjust shock placement with consistency to sharpen handling.

Lowered Ride Height for Better Cornering

These holders locate the shocks 3mm lower, lowering the centre of gravity and helping the car carry more speed through turns. The change reduces the tendency to traction roll and increases predictability in high speed or high grip situations.

Selectable Active or Fixed Dampening

You get both fixed and active modes for rear dampening. The fixed mount uses a standard M3x8 screw installation, while removing the M3x8 screw enables the holder to pivot. That pivoting action softens rear suspension dampening and boosts off-power steering and rotation when you need it.

Precision Material and Finish

Made from high-grade Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum with a black anodised finish, these holders are built for repeated track use. The robust construction aims to provide long service life and consistent performance for club and competitive drivers.

How does lowering the shocks by 3mm change handling?

Lowering the shocks by 3mm reduces the centre of gravity which helps the car stay flatter in corners and reduces traction rolling, giving more confidence when carrying speed through bends.

Can I switch between active and fixed modes easily?

Yes. The fixed mode keeps the holder locked in place with the M3x8 screw installed. Removing the M3x8 screw allows the holder to pivot and enables the active dampening effect.
