Rear shock stability upgrade for XRAY X4

Install the XRAY X4 rear shock holder to sharpen handling and increase rear-end stability. Machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, this rear shock component balances low weight with strong stiffness for consistent performance on race setups.

Fine tuning and cornering balance

The holders accept shims to change shock angles precisely, helping you dial in corner entry and mid-corner balance. Dropping the shock mounting 3mm lowers the centre of gravity, which aids cornering speed and cuts the chance of traction roll in high-grip layouts.

Choose fixed or pivoting attachment

This XRAY X4 rear mount supports both fixed and active modes. In the fixed position the bracket stays solid, while removing the M3x8 screw enables the pivoting active mode that softens rear dampening, improving off-power steering and rotation on grippy surfaces.

Premium Swiss 7075 T6 build

Forged from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and finished in black anodising, these holders are made for repeated race use. The kit contains two rear shock holders engineered to fit the XRAY X4 chassis without modification.

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

Why lower the shock mount by 3mm?

Lowering the mount reduces the effective centre of gravity of the rear end, which helps the car stick through corners and decreases the tendency to traction roll on high-grip tracks.

When should I use the active pivot mode?

Use the active pivot when you need more rear rotation and softer off-power behaviour, particularly on surfaces with lots of traction where the car needs to turn smoothly mid-corner.

Do these holders need any chassis modifications?

No chassis cutting or drilling is required; the two holders are made to mount directly to the rear end of the XRAY X4 chassis and use the stock fixing points.
