The XRAY 302202 Aluminum Steering Blocks with graphite extension plates provide a strong performance upgrade for T4 2020 series RC cars. Machined from T6 aluminum for consistent strength, these blocks are built to withstand hard track use while keeping steering response crisp.

Stability on High Grip Surfaces

Made for high-traction conditions, these aluminum blocks increase front-end stability and yield smoother corner entry and exit. Composite bushings hold the wheel bearings on both sides, preserving free rotation and reducing wear compared to installing bearings directly into aluminum.

Adjustable Setup for ARS and More

These XRAY steering blocks integrate well with Advanced Racing Suspension systems and offer extended toe-in and toe-out adjustment range to tune handling. The graphite extension plates can be fitted above or below the hub carrier while keeping the same Ackermann geometry as standard composite parts.

Are these a direct replacement for standard T4 2020 steering blocks?

Yes. They use the same mounting points as the stock units and bolt in without chassis modification on standard T4 2020 chassis.

Will I need different bearings or spacers?

In most cases the same bearings and spacers from the stock steering blocks work fine, since the composite bushings provide the bearing seat. Check stackup after installation to confirm clearance.

How does mounting the graphite extension top or bottom change handling?

Mounting position alters roll center and leverage slightly; top mount tends to keep a similar feel to composites, while bottom mount can increase outside front grip depending on setup. Test both to find the best balance.
