The XRAY 301070 X4 Graphite Upper Deck is a precision replacement part made from 2.0mm graphite, designed to help drivers tune steering feel and traction. Its layout gives adjustable flex points so racers can dial handling for different surfaces.

Tuning Flex Positions

The deck features four selectable flex modes that change how the chassis behaves. Pick the option that matches your driving style and the track surface:

• Soft Setting: No bushings or bearings fitted to maximize flex and steering bite, at the cost of straight-line stability during heavy acceleration.
• Soft-Medium Setting: Add a ball bearing between the deck and motor mount to reduce sensitivity and gain mid-corner stability.
• Medium Setting: Use the special M3x5.5mm screw behind the layshaft for a balanced mix of steering and stability.
• Stiff Setting: Fit screws both behind and in front of the layshaft to lock down flex for top-end stability and sharper steering response.
