Chassis Tuning with the XRAY 301060 T4'20 Upper Deck

The XRAY 301060 T4'20 2.0mm Graphite Upper Deck is a precision upgrade aimed at drivers who want more consistent traction and crisper steering feel. Machined from stiff 2.0mm graphite, this deck helps stabilise chassis flex for predictable handling across a variety of track surfaces.

Tunable Flex for Different Track Demands

The deck's layout is engineered to let you dial in flex characteristics quickly, matching your setup to slower technical tracks or faster flowing layouts. Symmetrical shaping delivers repeatable behaviour so setup changes react predictably on lap after lap.

  • Soft Setting: Increases chassis flex to boost front-end bite and turn-in, useful on tight technical circuits but may require more driver input.
  • Medium Setting: Balances lateral compliance with fore-aft control to give a neutral feel in mixed conditions.
  • Stiff Setting: Locks out most flex for high-speed stability and consistent responses at elevated cornering speeds.

Setup Notes and Mounting Advice

Choose your flex based on driving style and grip level, fitting the deck securely and checking mounting hardware after every session. A correctly installed top deck reduces unwanted movement and helps keep suspension behaviour consistent.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
You will notice altered chassis flex which affects traction and steering. The 2.0mm thickness reduces unwanted twist while allowing selectable flex settings to tune front-end bite and stability.
This deck uses the standard T4 2020 mounting points. Check your kit hardware for length and thread type; replace any worn screws and use thread locker where needed.
On high-grip rubber surfaces try the soft or medium setting to increase steering responsiveness. If the car becomes nervous, move toward the stiff setting for more stability.
