Low-mount composite battery tray

A compact, scale-style composite tray designed to let saddle battery packs sit lower in the chassis, reducing the model's center of gravity to enhance stability and cornering. The tray profile provides the extra clearance needed for a lowered position while keeping the pack firmly held during aggressive running.

The holder accommodates shorty and mid-size battery packs and allows fore/aft adjustment with shorty packs to fine-tune weight distribution. Retention uses split retainers and strong Velcro straps, and the integrated cooling cutouts assist with battery temperature control during longer sessions.

This part is intended for narrow lower battery layouts and specifically lists compatibility with XB8E 2026. Confirm your chassis layout matches the narrow lower configuration before fitting.
The tray accepts both shorty and mid-size saddle packs. Using a shorty gives additional front to rear adjustment for balance tuning.
Fit the tray as low as chassis clearance allows, secure the pack with the supplied Velcro and split retainers, and use shorty pack placement to shift weight fore or aft to dial handling.
Regularly check the Velcro and retainers for wear, clear any debris from the cooling cutouts, and inspect the composite for signs of stress after heavy use.
