This chassis plate is a scale RC replacement made for the XB8 2026 platform, machined from 3mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium. The design supports a split radio box mounting and dedicated positions for the steering servo box and electronics box, helping to preserve consistent mass distribution and repeatable setup changes.
Precision milling includes a pocket under the clutch bell to prevent chassis contact under full flex and to shield the pinion teeth. Strategically milled flex zones and weight reduction pockets tune chassis behaviour while maintaining structural strength. A relocated rear C-holder position adjusts rear traction by altering local stiffness.
The plate is CNC-machined in lower stress areas and finished with a hard-anodized surface to resist wear from typical RC use. As a chassis component it is intended to influence handling balance, traction and steering response so the mounting layout and machined flex features support setup adjustments rather than add new parts.
