Installation and fitment: split-front deck for X4F'27

This XRAY 301093 upper deck is a purpose-built RC accessory for the X4F platform, supplied as a split-front carbon top deck with a nominal 2.0mm thickness. Its form is intended to let tuners alter front-end bite and steering response while keeping the basic suspension geometry unchanged.

The component is CNC-machined from high-grade carbon fiber as specified by the supplier, producing uniform stiffness and predictable flex characteristics across parts. The split-front layout shifts local flex ahead of the chassis centre, creating an extra tuning lever for track-to-track variation.

Fitting is straightforward for builders experienced with X4 series assemblies: the deck replaces the factory top deck using existing mounting points. Check fastener lengths and top-deck clearance to bodywork and electronics before final tightening, and confirm chassis symmetry after installation to maintain predictable steering behavior.

Specifications

  • Item: XRAY 301093 X4F'27 Carbon Upper Deck - Split Front - 2.0mm
  • Material: High-grade carbon fiber (CNC-machined)
  • Model Number: 301093
  • Compatibility: X4F 2027 / X4 Series

Use this split-front upper deck as a targeted tuning part to refine front-end bite and steering precision on X4F 2027 chassis layouts, integrating it with existing suspension and anti-roll settings rather than treating it as a single cure-all.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is manufactured for X4F 2027 / X4 series mounting points and is intended to replace the stock top deck using the existing hardware. Always verify screw lengths and check for interference with body and electronics before final assembly.
Fit the deck loosely at first, inspect the alignment of the split front halves, then tighten progressively to the recommended torque. Confirm the deck clears servos and steering linkages during the initial test fit.
Most users can reuse the factory fasteners, but check lengths to avoid contact with antennas or electronics. If longer screws are needed for stacked components, select flat-head or countersunk types that do not compress the carbon unevenly.
Measure wheelbase and track on both sides and perform a visual check of toe and camber at ride height. A simple drive test at low speed will reveal any obvious steering bias to correct before competitive runs.
