Central X4F aluminium motor mount for improved balance

The XRAY 303754-C motor mount unifies motor and layshaft supports into a single CNC machined component mounted on the chassis centre line to maintain symmetry and balance. The motor sits forward of the layshaft and a pressed-in steel layshaft axle keeps alignment under load.

Retention is enhanced with 3mm centering pins that hold the assembly even when only one screw is used, limiting play during impacts without relying on multiple fasteners. The top face includes precision holes to match XRAY top deck screws so the deck mounts true and contributes consistent flex behavior.

For setup the mount features a top-access eccentric bulkhead insert so gear mesh can be altered from above without removing the whole unit. The lower fastener holes are countersunk to accept standard screws, easing installation across X4F layouts while keeping the assembly robust against deformation in hard impacts.

Made from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish, the part is aimed at RC racers who need a low-mounted motor, repeatable geometry, and quick gear mesh changes during setup.
