This graphite upper bumper plate is an RC-scale replacement part designed for the TAMIYA TT-01 chassis. Built to the TT01-M18U specification, the graphite material boosts stiffness at the front mount without adding bulk, giving crisper feedback from the steering assembly during on-road tuning.

Installation uses the original upper bumper mounting points on the TT-01 chassis so stock screws and spacers are normally reusable. No additional drilling is required for standard TT-01 layouts; confirm alignment with the front bumper and steering linkages to prevent contact at full steering throw.

As a simple hop-up, swapping the plastic upper plate for graphite changes how impacts and weight transfer are handled at the nose. Use this change alongside spring, damper, and toe adjustments to refine turn-in and mid-corner behaviour on paved tracks.
