TS-2129 counter axle replacement overview

The Yokomo YOKTS2131 full counter axle is a direct-fit replacement for the TS-2129 chassis. As a scale RC drivetrain component, it replaces a worn or damaged counter axle and restores correct gear engagement and alignment within the transmission assembly.

Fit this part when inspecting drivetrain wear, after bearing replacement, or during a transfer assembly rebuild as part of a setup change. The component is intended for model-level work only and should be checked against the TS-2129 assembly before installation.

Installation notes: the axle requires basic drivetrain disassembly and precise alignment during reassembly. Confirm fit with the existing pinion and spur gear mesh and check that related bearings and seals rotate smoothly after installation. If fitment is uncertain, compare part markings and mating surfaces to the original TS-2129 axle before final assembly.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Remove the transmission cover and related driveline components, extract the old axle, fit the Yokomo YOKTS2131, then reassemble while keeping gear mesh and alignment consistent with factory spacing.
Inspect adjacent bearings, seals, and any retaining screws or pins for wear or damage and replace as needed to ensure correct seating and smooth rotation.
Manually rotate the drivetrain, check for even contact across gear teeth, confirm there is no binding, and fine tune pinion spacing until smooth engagement is achieved.
