This scale replacement set is built for TRX4M platforms and pairs a super-soft butyl rubber compound with foam inserts to increase traction on technical terrain. The compound is noted as super-soft (25 degree) butyl rubber rather than TPU or TPR, and is reported to offer noticeably better grip than common plastic tyres.
The tyres are reinforced internally and fitted with standard foam inserts to retain tyre shape and sidewall support under load, which helps stability and reduces tearing during repeated off-road use. The construction aims to resist slipping in damp or wet conditions while keeping a flexible contact patch for precise low-speed crawling.
Installation and fit notes: these tyres suit 1.0 inch wheel rims and the inner diameter is intentionally snug to reduce slippage on the rim. The bead design uses a long tongue profile with longer fixing screws for direct mounting, and a narrow clamping thickness to make one-handed compression and wheel assembly easier.
