This wheel and tire kit is made for the TRAXXAS TRX4 platform and supplied as TRX4889/1719. The package swaps crawler rubber for low-profile on-road radial tires mounted on plastic wheels, and uses aluminium hex adapters to widen track and suit higher speed handling.

The set ships as a 24pcs kit for on-road use only and is not intended for rock crawling. The aluminium hex adapters use a self-lock feature to help keep the hex seated during lateral loads while cornering. Kit components include hex adapters, adapter covers, hex socket screws, metal washers, screw shafts and the referenced manual entries.

Installation notes: install the supplied hex adapters to increase track width, fasten wheels with the supplied M4 hardware and washers, and verify the self-locking hex seats engage correctly before first run. For chassis tuning, the supplier recommends 75-80mm dampers with firm springs to reduce body roll and lower rollover risk at higher speeds on paved surfaces.

Ideal when changing a TRX4 from crawler tyres to an on-road configuration; pair with firmer damping and reduced body roll settings to maintain predictable handling at speed.
