This aluminium-scale motor mount and combined upper spur gear cover is made for TRX-4 platforms to stabilise the motor, shield the main gear and reduce dust intrusion. The single-piece assembly ties the motor mount and spur cover together to limit movement from motor vibration and help keep gear mesh consistent on technical trail sections.

The motor position is adjustable via multiple mounting holes so you can set the correct pinion-to-spur clearance. The bracket shifts the motor forward by 3mm relative to the stock location to alter weight bias slightly toward the front, a useful layout trait for crawler builds that need a different balance.

Constructed from 6061 T6 aluminum for higher tensile strength and improved impact resistance, the assembly includes integral heat-sink fins for passive dissipation. An active cooling fan sits atop the housing to supplement heat removal from the motor area, combining passive finning with forced airflow for better thermal control during slow climbs.
