This is a 1:72 scale injection-moulded plastic assembly kit recreating the US M26A1 Pershing heavy tank as a boxed static model for display and reference.
The M26 Pershing developed from the T26 lineage and saw combat in the closing months of the European campaign in 1945. The type was standardized as the M26 in March 1945; later refinements produced the M26A1 in 1948, which featured the 90mm M3A1 gun with a bore evacuator and updated muzzle brake, a lighter equilibrator in the M67A1 mount, and adjustments to the gun travel lock to improve handling and ballistic consistency.
The kit depicts the M26A1 layout and builds from multiple sprues plus separate upper and lower hull parts. The 168-piece count and sprue arrangement reflect conventional injection plastic construction with detail aimed at static display. Decals supply U.S. service markings. The compact finished dimensions make the model suitable for dioramas or shelving in 1:72 scale.
A compact 1:72 representation of the M26A1 Pershing offering a finely detailed static subject for display collections and diorama comparisons.
