This 1/72 injection-moulded plastic kit recreates the 12.8cm Sf. L/61 Sturer Emil on a tracked chassis, offered as a concise build with a moderate number of parts for a display-quality result.
The prototype was a German World War II heavy self-propelled gun, fitted with a 12.8cm L/61 gun. Only a handful were produced as experimental heavy anti-tank platforms rather than mass-production combat vehicles; the design illustrates wartime efforts to mount large-calibre anti-tank weapons on tracked mounts.
Assembly follows typical 1/72 modelling practices using multiple sprues of injection plastic. The supplied parts allow an assembled length near 135.6mm, making the finished model well suited to compact dioramas or cabinet display. The parts count and sprue layout make planning painting and finishing straightforward on a small footprint.
A compact 1/72 interpretation of an uncommon heavy self-propelled gun prototype, presenting modest build complexity and a small display footprint for collectors and display-oriented builders.
