This 1/72 scale plastic assembly kit portrays the German Sd.Kfz.182 King Tiger fitted with the Henschel turret, produced as a compact display-scale heavy tank model intended for experienced builders and collectors.
The King Tiger, officially Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. B (Sd.Kfz.182), was developed in 1942-43 as a successor to the Tiger I, featuring thicker armor and a long 88 mm gun. It combined heavy frontal protection with potent armament and saw limited production and late-war deployment, mainly in defensive actions on the Eastern and Western fronts.
The kit focuses on external detail and correct proportions at 1/72 scale. Moulded components include the hull, turret and ancillary fittings arranged across multiple sprues for organised assembly, with track elements supplied as separate parts. Decals provide late-war three-colour German camouflage options. Builders should plan for standard paint and weathering to achieve accurate field tones and subtle finishwork for display.
A compact 1/72 interpretation of the King Tiger that emphasises exterior accuracy and sprue organisation, well suited to small-scale display builds and dioramas.
