Trumpeter KA-27 Helix 03415 - compact 1:700 shipboard helicopter model

The Trumpeter 03415 KA-27 Helix is a 1:700 scale plastic model kit that recreates the shipboard Ka-27 helicopter, offered by the manufacturer as a small-scale naval aircraft subject.

The full-size Ka-27 originated at the Kamov design bureau in the 1970s as a compact shipboard anti-submarine and utility helicopter for Soviet and later Russian navies. Its coaxial rotor layout and compact footprint made it suited to operations from frigates and destroyers for anti-submarine warfare, search and rescue, and logistics tasks.

The kit is produced with a small-scale, detail-aware approach intended for display on ship models or within dioramas. With multiple sprues and a moderate part count, careful handling is advised because of the tiny components and compact assembled size.
