This 1/35 scale plastic model represents the Spanish VCR-105, a Centauro-derived eight-by-eight armored fighting vehicle, offered as a detailed assembly kit for model builders and collectors.
The VCR-105 entered Spanish service starting with an initial batch of 22 vehicles for the Lusitania 8 Cavalry Regiment and a follow-up order of 62 units in 2002. Spanish examples show late-production and local modifications such as a lengthened hull, bolted frontal add-on armor, basket-mounted containers on the turret rear, revised external fittings, relocated smoke launchers, and locally fitted radios and aerials. These are adaptations for Spanish operational use rather than a change to the base design.
The kit reproduces the external configuration typical of the Spanish batches, including the turret and hull alterations visible on reference photos. Assembly follows standard modelling practices and results in a display-quality exterior and stowage layout suitable for diorama or shelf display. Decals supply Spanish Army markings and the parts set covers hull, turret, and running gear as indicated by the manufacturer.
A straightforward, scale-accurate kit focused on external detail and Spanish-specific fittings, ideal for builders aiming for historically referenced external appearance and display presentation.
