This 1:144 scale plastic kit reproduces the Morser Karl-Gerat 040/041 in its initial release and sits within a compact armoured vehicle series aimed at collectors and modellers working at small scale.
The historical Karl-Gerät was a German heavy self-propelled siege mortar developed before and used during the Second World War to deliver very large demolition shells against fortified positions. Production numbers were limited and the design emphasized mobility for a very large-caliber gun mounted on a tracked chassis; it was employed in specialist siege roles rather than in general frontline operations.
The kit captures the basic external silhouette at small scale. It contains 32 plastic parts arranged on a single sprue and builds into a compact model measuring 80.5 mm long, 30.5 mm wide and 33.5 mm high. Decal choices present two vehicle markings shown in three-color camouflage as Nr. III "Ordin 040" and Nr. V "Loki 040". Typical small-scale assembly and finishing techniques apply for painting and detailing.
A compact small-scale representation useful for collectors and diorama builders seeking a displayable siege mortar subject in 1:144 scale.
