This Factory Pro set supplies front bulkhead bracing tailored for the Tamiya TRF421 chassis, delivered as one 1mm piece and one 2mm piece to allow simple changes to front-end stiffness. The parts are intended as RC-scale upgrades to alter chassis response and fine-tune handling balance without modifying the original bulkhead geometry.
Design focus is practical: swap the thinner or thicker brace to experiment with understeer/oversteer balance and front grip in different track conditions. The set is compact and intended to integrate with the TRF421 bulkhead mounting points so you can test ride-height and steering feel changes quickly between runs.
Installation is done using the existing bulkhead fasteners on the TRF421; remove the stock brace, fit the selected thickness, and retighten hardware to the vehicle's standard torque. Use the 1mm plate to test reduced front stiffness for improved compliance over low-grip surfaces, or the 2mm plate to increase front-end rigidity when faster steering response is needed.
When tuning, make single-variable changes: swap only the brace thickness while leaving other setup items unchanged, then compare lap times and steering feel. This isolates the effect of front bulkhead stiffness on handling and helps dial in predictable setup changes.
