TRF201 / DN-01 Front Suspension Weight Block 54439 for Tamiya  [54439]

This RC-scale suspension weight block is supplied by Tamiya as part number 54439 and is designed to replace the kit-standard N3 suspension parts on compatible TRF201 and DN-01 chassis. The unit is a 0 degree suspension weight block intended to alter front-end behaviour by adding mass and stiffness ahead of the front suspension mounting points.

The package contains the block and associated mounting hardware that replace the original plastic N3 components, giving a firmer front end and a modest increase in front wheel traction without changing suspension geometry. Measured mass is approximately 30g as supplied.

Installation is a direct replacement of the kit N3 parts on a TRF201 or DN-01 chassis, using the same mounting points. No chassis modification is required, but standard RC hand tools are needed to remove the original parts and refit the metal block and plate. After installation, verify ride height and steering trim before running.

In tuning practice the added mass and rigidity shift front grip characteristics and can be used to reduce understeer or to stabilise the car at corner entry depending on the rest of the setup. Evaluate changes progressively, and revert to the kit parts if the handling outcome does not match your setup goals.
