This option part replaces the standard suspension mount on the TAMIYA TRF 415 chassis with a machined aluminium alternative designated 1D Ver. 2. It provides a firmer, more repeatable mounting point for the TRF 415 suspension while keeping full fitment to that chassis.

Installation is straightforward for experienced hobbyists: remove the original mount and attach the aluminium unit to the same suspension mounting points. Reuse the stock fasteners where appropriate and check alignment before final tightening to prevent binding during suspension travel. No extra hardware or tools are included unless specified by the seller.

In tuning sessions, a metal mount changes the stiffness at the suspension pick-up, which can alter geometry feedback compared with plastic parts. Fit this mount when you need a stable reference for adjusting shock positions, camber link lengths, or roll center tweaks on the TRF 415 chassis.

Maintenance is simple: inspect mating faces for burrs after fitting, keep fasteners torqued, and monitor anodized surfaces for wear if used frequently at the track. This component is intended for RC model use on the TRF 415 platform only.
