Underbody shield for TRAXXAS XRT 8S

This RC underbody plate set is produced by GPM for the TRAXXAS XRT 8S platform and is designed to reinforce the front, centre and rear lower chassis sections. Each plate is formed from 304 stainless steel to provide long term corrosion resistance and abrasion protection where the stock chassis normally contacts rough ground.

The components receive hand polishing and staged quality checks to ensure flat mating faces and accurate fit to the stock rails. Installation is non-destructive and uses the vehicle's original mounting points, with the supplied fasteners securing each plate to the chassis. The kit is intended for direct fitment to the factory chassis using the recommended reinforcing screws.

From a tuning perspective these plates protect vulnerable underside zones during trail and off road driving, limit edge wear from impacts, and help the chassis retain flatness under repetitive stress. They do not change suspension geometry or drivetrain settings and are offered purely as protective structural reinforcement for the scale model.

Fit the plates to protect and stiffen the XRT 8S chassis while keeping the stock layout intact, and recheck fastener torque after the first few runs.
