Fitment is done with the supplied flat head screws or the 3M adhesive pads depending on how accessible the chassis is and personal preference. The snap-lock clamps give a repeatable clamp point for typical 1/6 scale battery packs while the aluminium base resists flex that can allow the pack to shift. For setup, locate the battery to preserve the vehicle's centre of gravity and secure it with screws into tapped bosses or with adhesive pads where screw access is limited.
