Hardened steel 50T spur for TRAXXAS XO-1

A straight-cut Module 1.0 50-tooth steel spur made for use on TRAXXAS XO-1 chassis and supplied as a single piece. The part features hardened steel construction, a black finish and a laser-etched tooth count to simplify gear selection during setup.

It replaces the stock large spur to set the main drive ratio; as a straight-cut gear it offers predictable meshing and efficient power transfer for high-speed on-road running. Use an M1.0 pinion of the correct size for proper engagement, check pinion-to-spur mesh and set minimal even backlash, and verify the gearbox bearings provide solid support to avoid premature wear.

This item is an RC-scale replacement intended for model use on the XO-1 platform and is not suitable for real vehicle applications.

The gear is made to fit the TRAXXAS XO-1 as a direct replacement; confirm your pinion is M1.0 and check bearing alignment when installing to avoid clearance issues.
Hardened steel offers higher wear resistance than softer materials, but it places greater demand on correct mesh and well-supported bearings to prevent accelerated wear elsewhere in the gearbox.
Set a small, even backlash and verify the pinion sits square to the spur. Run the gearbox briefly at low speed, then recheck mesh and bearing temperature after initial runs.
The laser-etched tooth count provides a quick visual reference so you can identify spares and confirm gear ratio at a glance during setup or team events.
