This XO012A front gear box case is an aluminium upgrade kit made for the TRAXXAS XO-1 chassis. The kit is aimed at improving front gearbox stability and firming the steering assembly by replacing the stock front gearbox case and securing the steering column area with stainless fixed columns.

The kit contents include the front gear box case, two stainless steel steering fixed columns, and the stainless steel screws in the sizes and counts shown below. The main body is machined from aluminium 6061 T6 to balance low weight with tensile strength, while the steering fixed columns use stainless steel to limit corrosion.

Installation note: the component mounts to the front gearbox area using the supplied screws to fasten both the case and the steering fixed columns; perform basic fit checks with the XO-1 front assembly to ensure correct alignment with the servo and steering linkage during assembly.

The XO012A set gives a direct replacement for the XO-1 front gearbox area where extra rigidity at the gearbox to steering-column interface is needed; assemble with the supplied stainless hardware and confirm servo alignment after fitting.
