Steering arm and tie-rod kit for XO-1

This aftermarket set is designed for the TRAXXAS XO-1 platform to deliver tighter steering response and improved durability in hobby use. The primary servo horn is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum to resist shear under load, while the adjustable tie rod and the supplied fasteners use stainless steel to minimise wear at the linkage points. A built-in spring on the servo horn helps absorb impact pulses and protect the steering gear during heavy impacts.

In practical terms this kit replaces the stock servo arm and steering link, and it offers two tie-rod mounting positions so you can change steering throw and centre bias without reprogramming servo endpoints. The tie rod uses a counter-clockwise thread pattern for straightforward turnbuckle adjustment.

Installation notes: centre the servo and fit the horn to the servo spline, choose the tie-rod hole that gives the steering ratio you want, and check travel limits on your transmitter to avoid over-travel. For setup changes, move the tie-rod between the two positions to prioritise steering sensitivity or straight-line stability depending on surface conditions.
