Front gearbox overview for scale drivetrains

This 3D-machined front gear box is designed for the TRAXXAS XO-1 platform and supplied as a 2 pcs set. The carrier is machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and finished with an anodized surface to resist wear while keeping the assembly light and stiff for model drivetrain use.

The kit includes a full complement of stainless steel mounting screws to reduce corrosion risk compared with plain-steel fasteners. These parts are intended to replace the stock front gear box assembly where the TRAXXAS XO-1 mounting points are used.

Intended as an aftermarket upgrade to increase front-end rigidity and service life, installers should confirm fitment with the XO-1 chassis and preserve original alignment of gears and bearings during reassembly.

Will this fit the TRAXXAS XO-1 stock chassis?

The front gear box is made for TRAXXAS XO-1 mounting points; check your chassis revision and compare bolt locations before fitting.

What is the carrier material and finish?
