Precision aluminium steering links for XO-1

These completed tie rods are a ready-to-fit steering linkage package made for the TRAXXAS Xo-1 chassis and identified as model XO160 from GPM. The set replaces moulded linkages with anodized aluminium rods assembled with threaded ends and ball-socket joints to give consistent steering geometry for XO-1 setups.

Suited to routine maintenance and chassis tuning, the pre-assembled aluminium rods let you dial in turn-in and toe without fabricating parts. Threaded terminals and ball cups arrive installed for direct fitment to standard Xo-1 steering knuckles and bulkheads where alloy replacements are used.

Installation notes: ensure correct thread engagement and use a thread locker appropriate for metal-to-plastic joints to avoid stripping. Verify ball-socket seating and compare linkage lengths to the originals before final torque. Use common RC hand tools for adjustment, set steering neutral and confirm clearance for suspension travel prior to running.

Just finished building a 4-tec 2.0 with GPM parts. SOOO beautiful. After having a bad experience building a wltoys this summer it was nice to once again do another build using GPM parts. The website is nothing to brag about but, the parts are top quality.

Very good service. Website is nice, simple, and easy to navigate. Order processing went fast and shipping was extremely well-handled. With mail notifications each step of the way. The extra packaging option is definitely worth the money for overseas shipp
They are made to fit standard Xo-1 linkage points, but check thread pitch and ball cup seating during test fit to confirm there is no interference with your specific knuckles.
You will need basic RC tools and the original mounting screws. A suitable medium-strength thread locker is recommended for metal-to-plastic joints.
Aluminium linkages resist stretch and hold length better than many moulded parts, improving repeatability for toe and steering throw adjustments.
No major modifications are expected, though you should confirm thread engagement and clearance; small trim or shimming may be needed on some setups.
Inspect threaded ends and ball seats periodically, keep joints free of grit, and recheck torque after the first running session to ensure secure fitment.
