4140 steel steering support for X-MAXX

For TRAXXAS X-MAXX 6S/8S platforms this aftermarket support screw reinforces the steering bellcrank posts and the front lower bulkhead base. The hardened 4140 steel construction helps resist bending and lowers the chance of post failure under heavy loads.

Installation notes: insert the support screw into the existing hole at the front lower bulkhead beneath the steering bellcranks, torque to your chassis spec, and apply threadlocker to prevent loosening during high vibration. This part strengthens steering components without altering steering geometry or response.

The original package includes a steering bellcrank post screw plus one Grade 12.9 black round head screw 3x16, quantity 1 pcs each as listed. Check fit and fastener length before final assembly to avoid interference with surrounding parts.

Compatible Models

  • TRAXXAS 1/5 X-Maxx 6S Monster Truck-77076-4
  • TRAXXAS 1/5 X-Maxx 8S Monster Truck-77086-4
  • TRAXXAS 1/5 X-Monster BIGFOOT 50th-77136-4
  • TRAXXAS 1/5 X-Monster Chassis-77036-4
Fit the screw into the predrilled hole at the front lower bulkhead directly under the steering bellcranks so it supports the post base and transfers loads into the bulkhead.
No significant change to steering geometry is expected; the part is a reinforcement to reduce component flex and breakage, though you may notice a slightly firmer mounting at the bellcrank base.
