The STXM1200FR/G is a single chrome steel replacement gear made for TRAXXAS X-MAXX scale models. It is supplied as one piece and features a 42-tooth spiral profile manufactured from high-grade chrome steel with a stated hardness of 50. The part is intended for front or rear installation where spiral gear geometry is required.

Compatibility is limited to matching spiral gear components; this gear must be used only with spiral types STXM1200F/G1 and STXM1200R/G1. It will not mesh correctly with stock low-grade steel spur gears or other non-spiral designs. When paired with the specified spiral mates, the stiffer material helps resist damage from sudden braking and supports smoother drivetrain engagement.
