This direct-fit replacement front gear is made for TRAXXAS X-MAXX platforms and supplied as a single unit to restore worn drivetrain parts without changing the chassis layout.

Forged from high grade chrome steel, the component is a 13-tooth spiral gear with a measured material hardness of 50.2. The spiral tooth profile promotes smoother engagement with matching spiral main gears and reduces impact shock during aggressive launches.

Important compatibility note: this front gear is intended to be used only with the spiral main gear STXM1200FR/G and is not compatible with stock low grade steel main gears. Pairing with incompatible mains can produce poor meshing and accelerated wear.

The hardened chrome steel construction improves resistance to damage during high-torque starts and abrupt braking, helping the front drivetrain continue turning under load instead of failing immediately when the vehicle decelerates sharply.
